This book is a gem. I have read Tana before and loved her but this book has me giddy over her style. She writes mysteries that feel too beautiful to be mysteries. Her words jump out and touch your face, pulling you into the scenes unfolding in front of you. She writes rich and rugged at the same time. Elegant and brash. Despite the tricky Irish dialect, the characters root themselves in your mind and pull you back to the pages time and time again. I know I say this about all my favorite books but…I couldn’t put it down.
